It’s only possible to influence others towards positive actions in their lives AFTER you’ve gained awareness and control of your own life and your own closely-held paradigms. Once you’ve done that, it’s much easier to lead and inspire by example than it is to use any sort of external persuasion (even logic!) to try and help others change.

It’s as Ghandi said, “Be the change you want to see in the world.”
